Im suggesting putting another quick link inside the guild,
This will help, recruiting, and or conversations within guilds, and also with guilds chatting with other guilds

The people with admin powers can edit the guild chat,
By simply putting the link to the thread there.

Im sure there is a way, to only allow users to go into the Guild chat/ LS chat sections.
(that would prevent people posting in the Trading grounds and stuff like that)

Just a suggestion, instead of putting it in the charter, tracking it then losing it, it would also be right there.

nn imo, you can purchase a mirc channel which is already displayed as guild chat. In addition you can put the link into the guild charter on top, so everybody will see it

not every guild used irc, not every guild has a charter either...
this could also be used as a cheaper way of communicating
also a good way to get fg out of the system
