Hello, I have over 40 people in my Grush + Guber Event (check sig for info ^_^ ) and I still find it impossible to fill a game without a thread, or usually multiple, as they get closed, in the main forum.

I encourage people to stay in my event and pm me should they ever need a grush and/or guber in the future, and this helps somewhat with recruitment.

My suggestion is the possibility of having events within events, or rather, multiple occurrences of an event within one event post. For example, every time I start a grush, I make a comment in my event, but no one sees this unless they happen to be looking at my event.

Why not create a notification system, so that each time I start a grush, everyone in my evemt is notified by PM (which they can opt in or out of, obviously) This would be much more useful for advertising, and would surely decrease the number of threads in the forum.

Thank you for considering, please vote if you find this suggestion agreeable.

I think a better idea would be an ability to subscribe to a person's events, and whenever they make an event, you receive some sort of notification about it.

I like that idea, i think if you subscribe to a persons events you should get an automatic pm about it with possiblely a link to the event, that would be cool.

Not a bad idea at all, although this would mean making a brand new event for every instance of a grush, and then people would lose possible subscribers (aka the people who stayed in my event after it was over)

Also, subscribing to a specific user's events would open them up to all kinds of event types, when all they might want are grushs/gubers etc. My idea would be ensure that people would only get pm's about the specific events they signed up for

You mean a totally new event or an event inside the original?

Maybe be easier to just have a button ie: "start event"

and that sends a notification to all the people subscribed.

Perhaps an easier solution would be the ability to pm everyone who has joined your event at once

I suggested (As well as others) this same idea, but being able to pm all guild members at once. It was turned down due to site load, so I am sure this would have the same problem.

well the problem with pming everyone in a guild is that this could be hundreds of people, being that in a grush the most you will have is 8 so this seems to be the most logical answer:
