So how many times have you completed your iso in one of your iso threads? Or, sold one of your items or all that you have had posted in a trade topic? Then randomly, you get more bids, or meaningless bumps and plus ones from others after your thread is basically done? Or someone has private messages you about the thread, asking for a bin after the trade? There are so many things my site suggestion can help prevent and save work for everyone!

This benefits no one when you get nothing but plus ones from random bidders or posters and even spam after the all trades have been completed. This adds to paul's server space bit by bit, when the topic maker can just easily close his/her thread after the trade has been completed and save all the effort from tagged members you request to close a thread of yours. Seriously, what would it hurt? Think of how many less posts there would be with this option added in all trade forums.

Obviously, I am only suggesting that it be possible to close your own threads, no one elses!

Please excuse my quick & ugly grx edit. My example is only a suggestion on how to impliment my idea.. I am sure there are other ways to utilize my suggestion. It could easily say "Sold" or "Trade Completed". I would let this up to paul on however he would like to add this if he approves the idea. But for now, you should get the idea.

I am open to all critisism and ideas, please tell me if you think this suggestion would NOT help in any way.. and explain please.

It's thier privledge to close most topics, not just your own. And I am not suggesting this to recieve a priviledge, it's a good suggestion to save you much work and answering pm's for close requests... as well as saving server space, time spent in all this process.

Voted yes, of course. I love the suggestion Greggy. :D

There would obviously have to be restrictions. Several users would abuse this by closing a thread, then re-opening within 5-10 minutes.
There would need to be at least a half-hour, if not an hour, before being able to open ANY thread in the trade forums.

This would greatly help conserver server space, and keep mistaken posts (in other forums) from being +1 in. I say definitely, and Paul could always charge for the option (such as a closing orb you could purchase). No need for restrictions, unless someone violates reposting rules.
