I have 10 questions with multiple parts to each question. I am looking for help to complete them. I do not want points taken off if I have done them incorrectly. I am willing to pay fg for questions answered correctly.
Question 1:
Bill, a 75 kg man at your club, cycles at 120 Watts on a leg cycle ergometer. a) what is his VO2 in L/min?

During a 30 minute ride, what is his power output in: kcal/min, kg*m/min, watts? c) if bill chooses to walk up a 10% grade, what is the appropriate walking speed for the same VO2?
Required info:
Leg Cycle Ergometer
R = 3.5 ml/kg/min * body weight (in kg) - multiplication by body weight converts ml/kg/min into ml/min
H = 0; there is no horizontal component for this activity
V = 2.0 * power output (in kg*m/min) - 2.0 is the regression constant for converting kg*m/min to ml/min; kg*m/min = kg of resistance x meters per pedal revolution x pedal rate (rev/min); kg is the resistance or tension setting on the ergometer; meters per pedal revolution is a function of the ergometer being used (6m/rev); pedal rate must be known
VO2 (in ml/min) = R + H + V, where H = 0
Walking:
R = 3.5 ml/kg/min (by definition, 1 MET)
H = 0.1 * walking speed (m/min) - 0.1 is the regression constant for converting m/min to ml/kg/min
V = 1.8 * speed (m/min) * grade (as a decimal)
VO2 (in ml/kg/min = R + H + V
