For the marketing class I am currently taking, I need to get around 25 people to fill out this short survey. The survey is about soft drinks and is 20 questions long. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could take a few minutes to fill it out.

Soft Drink Survey
Using a scale of 1 to 7, with 1 being unimportant and 7 being highly important, rate the importance of the following attributes when you are considering purchasing a soft drink.
1. Caffeine - [1] Don't care for caffeine, if it's there i'll drink it. I'm indifferent to it.
2. Sweetness - [5] I want my soda to be sweet, but I don't want it to taste like liquid cotton candy.
3. Carbonation level - [7] I love carbonation, even though it's terrible for my teeth.
4. Availability - [1] Soda is readily available basically everywhere I go. Not hard to find.
5. Type of container- [1] Don't care can or bottle, i'll drink it out of a cup too.
6. Type of sugar/sweetener used - [7] Artificial sweeteners are garbage, and just as unhealthy as real sugar.
7. Amount of calories - [1] I'm not fat, no need to watch my calorie intake.
8. History of the soft drink - [1] Don't care where it came from, or how it tastes. I don't boycott companies.
9. Continuity of the soft drink's recipe - [4] Bothers me if the recipe changes too much, not a massive deal though.
10. Color (dark vs. light) of the soft drink - [7] Only drink dark soda. Light soda tastes like piss/water hybrid.
11. Color/design of the container - [3] It's nice if the container looks cool.
12. Events, causes, or ideas that the soft drink sponsors/supports - [1] Don't care what charity is getting part of the money when I buy a mountain dew. I bought it for the taste, not the satisfaction of doing a good deed.
13. Marketing slogan used by the soft drink - [1] Their slogan can be "we rape aborted fetuses", if it tastes good i'll still drink it.
14. Celebrity endorsements - [1] 90% of the time I wont know who the celebrity is.
15. Ability to mix with other drinks or fluid [5] It's always fun to mix a fuckload of sodas.


Rate the following soft drink brands on  a 1 - 7 scale, with 1 being the worst and 7 being the best, based on your personal preference.
1. Coca Cola - [6] Pretty good, but nothing special.
2. Mt. Dew - [7] Nothing else compares.
3. Dr. Pepper - [7] Tied with Mt. Dew for favorite, but a very different taste from Mt. Dew
4. Sprite - [1] Clear soda = piss/water hybrid, as stated previously.
5. A&W - [4] Great with rootbeer floats.
