anyways, i doubt many ppl look here tongue.gif
but if they do .. well.. then it's good because you were the only one willing to devote a few mins of your time to write a tut that may save a few posts in the wrong place.

You'd think so, wouldn't you.

Could do more difficult borders eg:
3 black stroke, 2 white stroke, 1 black stroke

Seeing work without borders was starting to piss me off.

Pretty good idea, maybe we should post in sight suggestions, or maybe tuts should get stickied...

the thing i like this tut for is that u dont take some crap border like a pattern one wich u can make with 2diff colors then cross make a sqaure fileld with 2 colors like this(example) red left upper squae//blue right upper sqaure//blue left down sqaure//red right down sqauere eeew its aefull wink.gif

a border wich also looks nice imo is jsut ur 1px black border then go filter-->blur gausian blur-icon_pointr.gif after this press ctrl 5 times gives u a border 2px from the outer border but just like a 0,5 px size

sometimes i just..
do what bobious does, then afterwards..
ctrl + d to deselect,
then i ctrl click the border layer,
go to Select > Modify > Expand (which makes it smaller.. contradicting it's name)
"expand" it by 2 pixels,
hit Ctrl + Shift + I to inverse the selection,
Select > Feather then feather it by 5 pixels,
then hit delete once.
makes for a nicer thinner one (i like on banners and avas, cuz 1 pix seems to take up too much space.
