Please try to post as much evidence as you can, if you got scammed.
It's not needed to post all of the listed evidence but the more you have, the higher is the chance to get a scammer locked.

A link to the trade thread were the deal was made (link to a topic)
A link to the other persons profile (link to the other user)
A screen shot of the pm showing the town and district where the trade was meant to happen
A screen shot of the pm showing the other person mentioning his character name
A screen shot of the you and the other trader in the same town in district
A screen shot of the other user's charname which must be the same as mentioned in the PM
A screen shot of your inventory and bags before and after the trade
A screen shot that shows "You traded xx items to xxCharNamexx"
RUN GUILDWARS IN WINDOWS MODE (easy to do click the little button next to x in top right corner so that you can time stamp the screen shots mUST HAVE MOUSE OVER IT SO TIME DATE IS STAMPED

Any other information that might be helpful

General information about trading on Guild Wars:
Do not trade without a trade topic
Do not answer PM offers if the other trader does not want to post in your topic
Try to get a Mediator for your trade if you can
Always ask for a confirmation PM of the Mediator
Take care that the other trader uses the exact same name as stated in his PM
Always make screenshots of your inventory before/after the trade and your ingame conversation
