Seeing everyone talk about their favorite fighters and who's the best and Conor this Conor that, I would like to see who you guys think are the top 4 or maybe 5 fighters of all time or that changed the sport to what it is.

Who is on your Mt Rushmore of MMA?


Yes I know the trolls will pretend Conor is Dylan and say he's all 5 of the best ever but let's try to be kinda realistic.


I'm going to start with 2 honorable mentions.
1. Conor Mcgregor. He's real young in the game right now but he's blown through and done some things never done before. And I think if he continues what he's doing he's going to change the game completely in fighters favor. That being said, I don't think he's Mt Rushmore worthy yet.
2. Bj Penn. The man did it all when the sport was young. He fought anyone anywhere and he won a lot of crazy fights. Fought for 2 different weights for a belt. Didn't have much of a record but was still one of the best ever.


Now Mt Rushmore

Anderson 'The Spider' Silva- easily the most dominant champ the UFC had ever seen. Fought multiple weight classes and did things in the octogon Noone else could possibly do. Longest UFC title defense streak. In discussion for P4p GOAT with the next guy

Fedor ' the Last Emperor' Eliminateyou (for sure get an easier name to spell)- This man was the face of MMA before anyone knew what the fuck the UFC was. He beat monsters and circus freaks and people say he wasn't the greatest because of it, but the man beat the who's who of the Heavyweight hall of fame. Only new fans hate on what he did in the past.

Royce Gracie (did he have a nickname?) He has to be on my Rushmore because he was the start of it all for the UFC. He proved the smaller man could win (as long as the bigger man had no idea what the fuck grappling was) without him I feel like the UFC wouldn't have ever worked.

And last but not least. I may catch a litter flack for this but....

Jon 'Bones' Jones- he was the first legit full blooded ATHLETE to fight in the octogon. He fought all the former Champs and all the up and comers and demolished every one of them. At what they did best. He is a monster among men and truly shows it. If he could get his shit together I feel like he could run through anyone ever in the history of fighting. That's a big if though. Even with his problems



Yes I did leave of GSP but I have some reasons behind that. Let's hear what you guys feel.

I feel like Silva really straddles the line of Old School and Modern.

I like your guys list. I dont agree Conor deserves to be on there yet but his fandom really is something never seen before in MMA. Even Lesnar wasnt this big.
