Raphael Lovato Jr. Is the main instructor. I'm treating this as something completely new and something I'm unaware of. I don't want UFC ignorance clouding the martial art. I want to try and become very technical.

BJJ outside of mma is completely different then inside mma.

Ignorance might have been a harsh word. Things you see being used that people might think they know how to do correctly after seeing on UFC/TV/wherever.

And yes BJJ with a gi is much different and I'm excited about that.
