This list/thread is currently being managed by lncarnaxim and MerleHaggard.

We have decided to not include a trusted bettor's list. There are certainly plenty of trustworthy people here and no offense is intended toward them. This prevents the possibility that errors in our own personal judgement (specifically regarding another person's trustworthiness) may cause our own reputations to be tarnished.
This may be subject to change in the future.

Mediators

For safety reasons we always recommend using one of the mediators listed here when making a bet. This will ensure that you will not be welched and will receive the FG you have won.
Before requesting a mediator, please make sure you read and agree to the mediation requirements of the mediator you choose, which are usually located in their profile. Many people do not read the mediation requirements, which often causes an unnecessary hassle for the mediators, who are already volunteering their time. To help us help you, please read the rules.
Bet Confirmation
If you are posting in someone else's bet thread, once the thread-maker confirms then the bet is official. We're not playing the Confirmation game here, it's hard enough keeping track of bets as it is. If the thread maker makes a bet offer and you post saying you'll take that bet or something similar to this, this is enough confirmation in itself unless you're asking the thread maker a question (i.e. "Want to use a mediator?").

    Think how this looks:
Post #1.Yes I agree to take that bet
Post #2.I confirm that I agree to take that bet. This doesn't make much sense does it?
This whole confirmation thing is actually pretty ridiculous. In the event that the thread maker gets several replies to the bet they are proposing, then it makes sense that he needs to confirm which bets he accepts, especially if he was only planning on taking one bet. But in other situations posting confirmation is ridiculous. When people try to hide behind the "I didn't confirm" thing, we will decide whether to list them as welchers on a case by case basis according to our own discretion.

If you have agreed to a bet with someone and decide later that you don't want to take the bet, make sure you post in the original thread that you are backing out of the bet before the live starting time of the event that you were betting on. This should be common sense. If you don't, you may be put on the welchers list.

With all this being said, this puts extra responsibilty on thread makers to be very clear in explaining the bet they are proposing, and regarding which bets they are accepting.

Above all, use some common sense.
Nominating Active Members or Welchers
If you would like to add someone (including yourself biggrin.gif ) to either the Active or Welchers column, you must provide evidence (betting threads, screens). This can be done via pm if you wish.
Definitions of Terms
Active= Those who have a clean history of betting here, with no witnessed or reported problems.
Welcher= Those who have not paid up on bets they have lost and who show no intention of doing so (scammer).
Redeemed Welcher = Those who have welched at one time, but have since paid up on the debts they owed.
