The ref pretty clearly approached him and touched him multiple times with his arms. While this guy was stepping back and took a hook.
Should go to jail for that.

the cornerman looks like he said some shit, looks like they where both heated, looks like the ref tryed to talk to him and they started pushing eachother or some shit and boom, u get what u ask for.

tbh this whole self defense requirements are bullshit, if someone is being hostile with you and will possible hit you, u should be able to woop their ass.

if someone does you very wrong, you should be able to woop their ass or get them back a certain way. well, to be honest, that just goes to show others have imposed and created a "world" for you. i for one dont give fuck about someone else's oppinion of how the "world is", live in your own.

people who ref a sport usually had an interest in the sport as a player at one time (or fighter)

Yeah it looks like the cornerman was probably pissed his guy lost, said a couple things, then clearly started to walk away. The ref walked up to him as he was walking away, they get in each others' faces probably saying a couple things, then the ref clearly initiates physical contact by grabbing the guy's hands, so he gets pissed and shoves him back. Ref then decks him.

Ref was definitely wrong in this situation...He's supposed to be the professional who is working, but that incident was definitely his fault lol.

I saw this on some show a while ago. The ref was actually interviewed. What happened was the cornerman was heated and they had an exchange of words and he grabbed the ref's wrists and squeezed them and than ate that left hook lmao. The ref has had some training as well, which was pretty obvious haha.
