Hello!

This guide is to explain what is required to provide a perfect scammer accusation thread, if ever the situation to arise.

We will be showing you how an ideal trade should be done, and what screenshots should be taken. It is in your best interest to read this whole guide!

However, if you only wish to read a certain section, Ctrl + F one of the #'s below;

#1 = Bounty Hunter Trading
#2 = Quest/Skill Services
#3 = Dragonstone Trading
#4 = Junk Trading

#1 - Bounty Hunter Trades

Section I - The PM.

http://i37.tinypic.com/dha04g.jpg

This is one of the most common mistakes, taking a picture of any pms which are sent during the trade.

Things that should be present: The overall deal, any terms and agreements (if not listed in the trade thread) Runescape usernames (These will be compared to the in-game PM Screenshots!) and any additional information that could be useful.

Section II - In-Game PM Screenshots confirming identities

http://i34.tinypic.com/28l9x3.jpg

As you can see, Iceburn_101 is Iceburn@JSP (This can be compared to the PM), And Chunky506 is The_Carlton@JSP (Like Iceburns', this can be compared to the PM on Jsp.)

Things that should be present in the RS PM: Both JSP users confirming their RS Usernames.

Section III - The Trade Window.

http://i38.tinypic.com/2pt8f7q.jpg

As you can see, the trader is placing his item/s that he plans to transfer in the trade window, allowing a price check to be visible, as well as the items.

Things that should be present: The correct value of rsg of which you are trading, shown at the bottom of the trade window, and the items.

Section IV - The Death screenshot.

http://i36.tinypic.com/2h51u9f.jpg

Things that should be present: The Seller (The JSP User receiving the Forum Gold being killed by the Buyer (The one sending the Forum Gold.) To do this, hover your mouse over the character, so it is shown in the top left hand corner.

Though he is not bent over in the death-emote, you can see he has 0 Health. This is sufficient

Note: Please remember, the seller is responsible for their items until he/she is killed by the buyer.

#2 - Level and Quest Jobs

Section I - The PM.

http://i40.tinypic.com/14o5c0m.jpg

This is one of the most common mistakes, taking a picture of any pms which are sent during the trade.

Things that should be present: The overall deal, the thread in which the deal was originally made, any terms and agreements (if not listed in the trade thread) and any additional information that could be useful.

Section II p1) - The Before-Trade screenshot - Skill Level Jobs

http://i44.tinypic.com/fdt6op.jpg

As you can see, the level of the skill is visible, along with the experience. Not only this, but the overall level is also showing. It is important to have your account name visible in this screenshot. If you wish to have it edited out in your scammer-accusation thread, please make sure you have back up unedited screenshots to pm the enquiring mod.

Things that should be present in the Screenshot: the Skill Level, the Skills Experience, Overall level and your account name

Section II p2) - The Before-Trade screenshot - Quest Jobs

http://i44.tinypic.com/70dtt3.jpg

The main idea of this screenshot is to have the quests that aren't completed, showing in red or gold (Depending if it has been already started by yourself or another user). Furthemore, have the total Quest Points showing, and your account name. If you wish to have it edited out in your scammer-accusation thread, please make sure you have back up unedited screenshots to pm the enquiring mod.

Things that should be present in the Screenshot: The quests which you are having completed, the total quest points and your account name,

Section III - Your Items - Bank & Equipment

http://i42.tinypic.com/2j661pl.jpg

http://i41.tinypic.com/2yvtbbs.jpg

As you can see, I have only taken a single screenshot of my bank, but it is urged that you take a screenshot of each tab/new row your bank has. That way, you have every single item visible on a screenshot (It doesn't matter if you feel you have too many screenshots, as the more evidence, the better). With the equipment, make sure you screenshot any items that will be provided during the quest job, as well as the bank if you choose to give access. Make sure not to forget to have your account name showing.

Things that should be present in the Screenshot: Your entire bank, inventory, equipment, and your account name visible in all screenshots.

Section III - The Bank Pin

http://i44.tinypic.com/9hju2o.jpg

This is one of the easier things to screenshot. All you have to do is "talk to" a banker, then select "I'd like to check my PIN settings". Be sure to have your account name showing

Things that should be present in the Screenshot: PIN settings, and your account name.

After having sure that you have collected all of this evidence, you may then conduct the trade.
On completion, you should screenshot another series of pictures, including the required ones of all sections which suit your trade. (If no new pms have been recieved/sent, then taking another screenshot of a pm (Section I) is not necessary)

#3 - Dragonstone Trading

Section I - The PM.

http://i40.tinypic.com/13zwo48.jpg

This is one of the most common mistakes, taking a picture of any pms which are sent during the trade.

Things that should be present: The overall deal, the thread in which the deal was originally made, any terms and agreements (if not listed in the trade thread) Runescape usernames (These will be compared to the in-game PM Screenshots!) and any additional information that could be useful.

Section II - Identification.

http://i39.tinypic.com/2d7tpxx.jpg

This is where you take screenshot/s of each trader identifying themselves with their d2jsp name. (Make sure you say this in private, as you could be awarded black marks if reported!) As you can see, Iceburn is Iceburn_101@D2jsp, and The_Carlton is Chunky506@D2jsp

Things that should be present: Your account name visible in the screenshot. The other trader identifying themselves via in-game

Section III - Seller sells the dragonstone

http://i39.tinypic.com/2d7tpxx.jpg

If you are a seller, this is where you take a screenshot of your dragonstone in the shop, immediately after you have sold it to the shopkeeper.

Things that should be present: The dragonstone/s in the shop, your account name.

Section III - Buyer purchases dragonstone

http://i41.tinypic.com/2rz6ik5.jpg

If you are the buyer, screenshot the dragonstones in your inventory, while having the dragonstones in the shop visible. This way, we can see how many are still in the shop, and how many are in your inventory.

Things that should be present: Your account name, and the dragonstones in your inventory + in the shop

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#4 - Junk Trades

Section I - The PM.

http://i39.tinypic.com/ml6tt1.jpg

This is one of the most common mistakes, taking a picture of any pms which are sent during the trade.

Things that should be present: The overall deal, any terms and agreements (if not listed in the trade thread) Runescape usernames (These will be compared to the in-game PM Screenshots!) and any additional information that could be useful.

Section II - The Identification.

http://i43.tinypic.com/73m1r9.jpg

Things that should be present: Your account name visible in the screenshot. The other trader identifying themselves via in-game

Section III - The Trade Window

http://i42.tinypic.com/2ewzm7t.jpg

As you can see, the trader is placing his item/s that he plans to transfer in the trade window, allowing a price check to be visible, as well as the items.

Things that should be present: The correct value of rsg of which you are trading, shown at the bottom of the trade window, and the items.

Section IV - The After Screenshots

http://i42.tinypic.com/2076ej5.jpg

http://i39.tinypic.com/2mw9h1f.jpg

The main idea is to have the item you recieved (whether it is the junk item/s, or the gold) showing in your inventory, after the successful trade

Things that should be present: The Money or Junk Items, Your account name.

Account trading/Members pin Trading

We do not allow account trading, buying, or selling. It is very hard to prove that a user stole your account if you tried to sell it to them. The user can recover the account and there is no way to prove that they did. The person buying the account can get on the account and steal the items and say that they werent able to ever get on and there is no way to prove that they did. Please just dont trade your accounts here.

We do not allow the trading, buying or selling of members pins. It is even more impossible to prove, actually its impossible to prove wether a pin worked or not.

Note : There are several different trading methods available to you at this time, as these methods become more common I will post here what we need from you should you get scammed.
