Are you fucking kidding me? Halo CE is, arguably, the most competitive Halo game. But even if you don't count CE, shit like SC, CS, etc. far out-class H2 in terms of competitiveness. You have to realize that Halo is a fucking FPS: It doesn't take that much talent to be a top player. You can get by on fast reflexes and hand-eye coordination alone, and didn't have to really be smart to do this shit. In games like SC you have to have impeccable hand-eye coordination(Moreso than in any Halo game), along with the smarts to actually win games. There's very little decision making that goes into Halo: it's just purely action and reaction, there were no complex strategies and mind games(There were mind games to a certain extent, but nothing like in SC). Not to mention the fact that Halo was, in terms of e-Sports, a casual's game. Even competitive Halo was casual when compared to SC. There wasn't really competition in Halo; in SC, there are thousands and thousands of people legitimately trying to become to the best in the world, practicing for 12 hours a day. There was none of that in professional Halo, not even close. That's because you didn't have to practice as much to become a top Halo player, you could just pick up the controller after a week of not playing and be at top form after a 15 minute warmup, assuming you're inherently talented enough to become a top player.

And this is coming from someone who played nothing but Halo for nearly a decade. There was a time when I really thought being a Halo pro meant you were one of the best gamers in the world, but after looking at the SC and the MOBA scenes, it really stands out how casual Halo is.

I was thinking along the lines of H1 2 and 3 and reach not CE SC CS are totally different you are right and are more competitive. I wasn't bringing in pc games as a choice just the 360's games
