These threads are mad redundant but for the sake of participating I'll say VIII.

I'm not crazy about either but VIII is too boring for me.

As always, I like 8 more. More interesting story, better paced, better character development, just a better game imo.

I'd love to hear a somewhat detailed breakdown of FF7's story from someone who thinks FF7 is perfect. I say this because, I think, that the story is not told very well, and as a result a lot of people have very different opinions of what is actually happening. Because, yeah, I wonder if the people who think it is perfect, like it for the story, or just because of the nostalgia factor.
