i tried 7 and gave it a shot i got up to the chocobo farm area but for so much bring up till then it wasnt worth going any farther..

8 i remember playing it once and it was lame >.<

he didn't miss much. ff8's battle system was so bad and the game moved so slow the plot didn't actually even start until the last 2hrs of the game. why would i have to equip some stupid aeon just to use item or absorb spells from some monster just so that it can run out 10min later.
ff7 is just one of those game where people place its balls in their mouth just b/c its a classic and will lie to themself that its a good game. the game has no character development its just about a spikey hair kid with a big sword following this guy around thats why people thought it was cool. shits worse than the dbz fanboys.

ffx is the only final fantasy worth playing.

loooooool, gotta be the most inaccurate, pseudo-snob opinions I've read in some time. Sounds like you're just a simpleton who wasn't able to use his imagination until everything was read aloud to him.

personally i like ff8, but yes the combat system takes alot of grinding which isnt for everybody

Exactly this.

I agree that 8 has one of the worst battle systems. But the plot is amazing. I don't get why everyone thinks you need to grind, or stand there drawing forever, because you don't. There are probably a few rare magics to do that on, but that's it.

And I do think that 7 has one of the worst plots. I wouldn't say it's a terrible RPG, but I agree that it is the most overrated RPG probably of all time.

Was longer than 3 hours more like 7 considering I didn't use a walkthrough .. To much boring.



Wrong I played them both a fair amount of time. 8 sucked.

9 is my all time favorite for the story.. The characters are cool except maybe the knight with girly eyelashes..lol

And the plot was good. I will agree when most ppl will say 9s battle system sucked...it may seem slow but all in all the game is still beatable without cheating or grinding within twenty four hours

Steiner? Steiner was a badass. I respect your opinion regarding 7/8, can't tell which one you were referring to where you played for 7 grueling hours, but when it comes to these games and how often the plot changes, especially towards the ends of these games, you're in no position to trash either one of them.
