The War Z is the world's first survival mmo in a zombie infested world. You may have played games before - now it's time to live one.

It's been five years since the outbreak; leaving in its wake a post-apocalyptic nightmare with ninety-five percent of the human population gone.
In order to stay alive, you will need food, weapons, and other supplies. Some of you will be able to scavenge as you navigate the terrain,
others will be forced to fight for survival as you encounter zombies and other players. Every decision will have an impact on whether you live or how quickly you die.


This game has been compared to the idea of DayZ, the mod for ArmaII, though much more polished, and from what I've read.. this is going to be intense.

Anyone else going to be checking this out after going through their site?

True game of survival in the sense of having to scavenge for supplies.. weapons.. food.. build up a base and hope to not run into unfriendly other players.

This game will draw many different minds since you can group.. you can quest (though there is no main quest line to follow), you can pvp.. the options on what you can do in this game is limitless.
They spoke about how you can set up traps and deceive other players into falling into them and what not. You can lure hordes of zombies to nearby survivors (other players) bases..
This game is just super interesting to me, and I havent seen any threads on here for it yet and just wanted to share!

I signed up, it looks like it will be fun. BUT it is a complete rip off of Dayz there is no denying that.

they said they wouldn't do that, and how could there be?

No, its not going to be pay to win, pay will be minor cosmetic stuffs, nothing to give you any sort of edge. I think this game is going to be excellent

i hope it blows away DayZ, it's almost a challenge in itself just to control or even play DayZ with all the bugs that it has, lol.

so far from the screens and info about The War Z it's looking pretty good graphical wise and will probably run alot better than DayZ, even saying that it will be able to run well on lower end cards sounds promising.

I want to see some Video of gameplay, looks like it would be fun.
