I'm going to clear up some confusion about how the swiss tournament works.
Understand that this is a good tournament to play in, even if you aren't master league.
The way swiss style works is like this:
Example:
Round 1: Play against a random opponent, lose 0-2.
Round 2: Play against opponent that also lost round 1. Win 2-1.
Round 3: Play against opponent that is also 1-1. Win 2-0.
Round 4: Play against opponent that is also 2-1. Lose 1-2.
Round 5: Play against opponent that is also 2-2. Win 2-0.
Your record is 3W 2L with 7 points. Each win is worth 1 point.
Now you are placed into the tournament bracket as long as you are top 16 in the group.
-If another player is at 3W 2L and it's a tie to enter the bracket, it will come down to who has the most points (wins)
-If it's still a tie, they will play a 1v1 BO1 to determine who gets the spot in the bracket.
The top 8 players will play in a tournament, then the next 8 will play in their own SEPARATE tournament.
The top 8 will have a prize pool of 3000fg, and the consolation bracket will have a prize pool of 2000fg.
So, it's good to play every match and try to take games even if you think you won't take the series. Every win counts.

Todeskampf.216Right now we have 17 players, which means I can only really have one bracket for the finals (8-10 players).
We still have to consider the 10%-40% no show rate.
So most likely just one bracket, unless we get like 8 more to sign up before go-time tomorrow, then we can have two different tournament trees.
