In your opinion, Since I only have Cataclysm, what is the easiest new starting character? Like If I am a brand new WoW player, which I basically am!

Hunters are probably the easiest to get into the game. Your pet can take the mobs while you sit back and learn how the combat system works.

gun/bow doesnt matter. trolls get some crit from bows and dwarves get some crit from guns i think. but not much. use whatever has the best dps/stats when you find it.

some pets are better for tanking (tenacity), some pets are better for damage (ferocity), some are better for utility (cunning).
it kind of makes sense by what type of animal they are. for instance: bears and turtles and stuff are good for tanking. cats and raptors and wolves are good for damage. spiders and weird shit are good for utility.

I vote druid or paladin.

Allows you to play multiple roles while leveling to see what you may prefer. (almost all my chars are hybrid).
