how do you do "monkey runs"? i've heard about them, and i get they're the first few groups of monkies in stormstout brewery, but don't you get deserter buffs? or do you just go in as a group and physically walk in and out?

also, i'd be interested in doing these. Alliance. I can heal or dps (shammy)

you get a group of 5 people together in a party before you queue and then queue specifically for stormstout brewery. i don't know exactly how the deserter buff works but i assume that being in a premade group prevents it from being applied

i've been in groups that leave before killing the first boss and groups that leave after killing the first boss and neither gave me deserter. i couldn't tell you which method is better for exp/hour though as that would require a lot of math that i don't feel like doing and there would be variables like your groups aoe/single target dps. one thing to consider though would be the shards you could get if one of your group was an enchanter

u will get locked out if you kill too many bosses in an hour
its only good xp if your rested too... otherwise questing is better

ah okay...so the trick is to not kill the boss? just the first rooms and then leave and you won't get locked out or deserter. sounds like a plan

and yes, i have rested for like 2 who levels, am 85 currently.
