I know this is probably going to sound pretty dumb. as the description says, I'm pretty new to wow. Just going to be straight up here. I like PvP...a lot. How do I get started doing things like RBGs and Arena teams when all I have is honor gear? Obviously, I plan on getting conquest gear and all that. But this is my first season, and i'm not too appealing with my gear to someone running RBGs and such. I'm in a pretty solid/friendly php guild. So that's an option. I don't think they're gonna make a spot for me, considering I've never seen the inside of an RBG before. How did you guys jump into that shit? thanks in advance.

Gear is such a huge factor in this game atm, you almost NEED it to compete.

but you can still arena/rbg with friends/low mmr ppl

I was actually just going to edit that in. Is Tyrannical gear purchased with honor or....? I'm lost.

It's purchased with Conquest Points on Serpent's Spine in pandaria

e/ you get 2200 conq points a week default, and each rbg win over 1500 rating increases that

same for arena, but it starts at 1800

For example, 1960 in 3's gave me a 2550 cap for the week in arena.

so in a nut shell, the best possible outcome of me having tyrannical is still a few weeks away.

Wrong, you can get a piece of tyrannical the very first day you hit 90.

Each piece cost between 1250-2250 points (not counting the weapons)

So you get 1-2 pieces a week.

just do as much damage as possible is best way to play rbgs

dont listen to this guy, all he does is spam nether tempest on every enemy character then iceblock to sit duration of nethertempest and recast when he comes out of block
