But now the hunter has even more sustained damage outside of stampede and stampede is still shit. Stampede will normally force a cooldown when paired wit BM/Rapid fire. Outside of that most can heal through it, including Cyba. Take it from someone who did spend the time looking at meters, numbers and target dummies.

Not insulting anyone, but it doesn't matter how much you look at meters at dummys it won't help you in pvp. I clueless about pvp pre-mop and was a top raider, didn't help me any. I'm sure you're all good players.

I have never seen a hunter use spirit beast above 2.2 mmr

people might take cc pet or dmg pet over heal pet

You're missing the point of everything I said, the reason to talk spirit beast in 3's before was because it gave mastery buff for 2 mins. You could get + Crit, + Mastery, +Haste, etc. From each pet summoned by stampede and they removed that. But like you said no one took advantage of it anymore so it wasn't a big deal. That's why the stampede buff wasn't a big deal, because the main pet is all the matters. Stampede just makes people spaz out and everyone thinks it's stampede damage but if you look at the meters it's when stampede+bm+Rapid fire are popped and the pet crits for 50k every like 5 seconds while the hunter spams 30-40k arcanes and you can't kite. So by nerfing stampede and buffing the hunter you essentially nerfed mirror images and gave mages 10% extra damage on ice lance and frostfire bolt.
