here is my solution

1.
- you send account + password to the person doing the job

2.
- the person who doing the job tries log on to wow and account get locked up

3.
- the person who own the account should get an e-mail from blizzard about account identify verify with a link to reset password

4.
- you send that link you receive from your e-mail to the person doing the job

5.
- the person doing the job change password from the link you sent from the e-mail

6.
- now both of you can log on to the wow account without getting locked up until the password is being changed again

(at least this is the way from my experience have worked every time right away i am from europe doing mostly usa jobs)

(should tell each other the password as well but the owner of account can do a password reset to get account back at anytime if something happens)

Here's my solution:
Stop being lazy.
It's a game.

When is it that games got so tedious that you would actually pay someone to play them for you.

I guess this is mainly their way of preventing hackers to log on ur account -- you should be ok to call them and explain why you were on a different IP address ... because it would be a whole lot of mess for example: if they ban everyone who even goes to a LAN place to play with friends or what not right ?

Basically it means if you get hacked there is a very good chance that your account will get frozen the second they try log in, avoiding any damage to your account and saving blizz the time of resetting all your gold and items, also saving you the several days of not playing that it takes to get your account back to normal after being hacked.

I just got a power lvl and i had to reset twice before the other guy could get in :( this new feature is so annoying.

It also means you can't log into your account while it's being leveled and steal all the drops and items they mule on your account like I did last time i got a lvl job from one of those sites :( Got 25k gold worth of shit hehehe, back in start of WOTLK when that was a pretty huge ammount.

If someone is doing a level job for you,the password will need to be changed, however they do not need to change the password. If you change the password from your own computer they will now be able to log in with the new password.
If you are familiar with coin lock on rift, it seems as though it is fairly similar now, and once the password is reset they will now have no trouble accessing the account.

DO NOT give them any more info than you need to, seen a guy get 'hacked' because he gave his secret question/answer away. there is no reason to ever give someone leveling your character this information.

Only if they're linked to the same battle.net account. If the wow accounts are on different battle.net accounts yoy should be fine. And either wway I'd assume you should be fine but I'm not totally sure
