Reactivated my account that I canceled about two weeks after hitting 90. He's a warrior with a shitty ilvl (469 or something). What's the quickest way to gear him up? Do I still have to grind all those reps to buy stuff with valor? He's not revered/exalted with any of them yet

I ran all the lfr's I could queue for this weekend, and I got the 2h axe from the sha of fear. so thats a start.

Anyway my real question is am I just stuck grinding rep for a week or so before I can start really getting gear?

didn't know about the upgrades. that will be a good way to spend some of this valor while i'm grinding out the rest of the rep

and don't forget to the to the isle and get one of those keys for the extra loot coins

what is this key you speak of? I did the isle of thunder solo instances, but i didnt do the one at the end where you can pick a pvp/pve event and get different rewards. Maybe i'll look into that when I get home.

once a week you get (almost)guaranteed key to lei shen palace from first rare you kill, you hand that in the shado-pan cave for solo scenario to get gold and elder charms
I usually just do the first room (there are no mobs except those 1 shot spiders) and it gets me 10-15 elder charms for extra rolls in lfr and world bosses

thuder isle rares

Ya kill thunder isle rares and you get the key...Then watch a video online of the troves of the thunder king(to help yourself do better) and you can get like 15-20 extra roll coins...I usually get 15+ coins. I would suggest just getting all the chests in the first room and not worrying about getting to the end of the instance.

also depends on what class you play, if you have no reliable stationary CC (like trap or sheep) and/or if you are healer, you won't be able to get to the last boss and kill him in time (I think he has ~5 mil. hp), I do this easily on my hunter (because fd+traps are just gosu) and you get more gold if you just loot the big chests but havn't noticed big difference in charms gain, so if you think you can't pull it off, don't waste time trying and just stick to the first room
