You get a bonus like that from every profession. BS and LW don't have any real great profit items (beyond the cost of materials). It at least seems that way on my server.

I don't remember it giving an extra socket to gloves, my bad. I suppose for just a personal benefit then BS would be good.

Those benefit the player. I meant that the benefit is to the player, it's not really a sell-able profession.
