I have 6x accounts.
all of them always plays legit, no one never played my account and I never run a thrid party on.
this morning I played for an hour and all was good.
1 hour ago, I try to log on and I received the scary screen ''your account has been closed (8)''
on ALL my six accounts...
reboot the computer, re installed the game and the same thing : (8) closed damn.....
I open a ticket and try to understand what happen, obviously the tech support said since its a classic game when you received a closed (8) there is nothing they can do to reverse..
so I was about to delete the game on both my laptop and my desktop and forget about D2 then I just give a last try ''just in case'' and you know what ? all my accounts are there now.
lol What happen ???
for 2 hours, closed (8) and then later its all back normal

Hi guys,
Looks like this was on our end. We accidentally flagged Mac users in a recent sweep for hack detections. It's already been rectified and the few accounts affected should be returned to normal status shortly. We apologize for the inconvenience. They just did a massive ban wave, but they fucked up and banned half the community. They have screwed over all the legit players lol
But apparently it's not just Mac users, I don't think they realise the extent of their mistake yet. It's reminiscent of the first ban wave they did last year when they just had to unban everyone, but I doubt they will bother this time, they will just force you to buy new keys and remake accounts.
