I'm trying to connect but I just get stuck at "Connecting to Fastest Server" and goes into modem error or w/e. Nothing is wrong with my net, at least that I know of cause everything and other games are working fine over the net. Been like this for 2 days now...=/

I've just tested, it's working for me, even on East. Are you running the game as administrator?

If you have a dynamic IP you can try doing the following:
Assuming you have Windows; hit the Start button, Run, type cmd, hit ENTER, type ipconfig /release, hit ENTER, type ipconfig /renew

ye I did right click and run as admin, also renewed my ip address. I cannot connect to USEAST nor for any other realm for that matter, even open bnet gets stuck at "connecting to fastest server" and jus stays there until error modem thing comes up.

Everything is working fine for me as well. :/

why jus me...i dun wanna re-dl it cuz it takes over 6hrs for me rofl via battlenet account

What type of firewall do you have? just as a test, disable your firewall and try to run D2.

jus tried still not working...firewall i turned off was the windows one

What ISP do you have?

Have you tried connecting your computer directly to your modem? Have you updated your firmware lately on your router? Have you tried connecting to USWest?
