I've been playing on Asia the last month, because I live in Japan, and it's so dead. There are games called TRADE123 and stuff like that, but if you go into them no one is trading. I don't know, maybe it's actually pronounced TRAH-DAY and means something different in Korean. Maybe it means stand around and do nothing, because that's all people seem to do. When I try to trade with someone and put my gear in the trade window, the other person is like, huh? What do you want? Trade? What are you talking about? I feel like I'm dealing with Rozencrantz and Guildenstern.

Obviously, trading on the realms is out, at least in Asia.

So I decide to revive my old d2jsp habits, come here, post some decent stuff in the Asia Trade forum, ask for some low items in return (I'm not asking for fg), and... dead...

But D2's still selling, right? So where are all the players? Which realm is the best at this time?

west would probably give you half decent ping and its fairly active

east is like china, lots of players but they are all poor and non skilled

west is like the pompous rich lands of heaven, enough people around with good gears and skill but they are all upthemselves

I don't care about ping so much. With all the bots and crap even my Asia ping is bad a lot of the times (and I'm on a DSL connection that never gives me problems and regularly gives me 48Mbit dl speed if there's enough data to fill the pipe, so it isn't me).

Sounds like West might be the best? Unless Europe is actually more active trade-wise?

Well, I decided to move to USWest. So far it seems like like the ratio of normal people to not-normal people is higher. Thanks for the advice and opinions!
