Alright so i'm busy building a smiter.
He's lvl 82 now and i havent used any stats or skill points yet.
So far for gear he has:

Perfect 2os CoA
Perfect Ap Coh
40/390 Grief PB
1818 Def 14 Aura 45 All res EvExile
30 Maras
20 Wisp
19/18 Anni

My questions are:
What should i put into the sockets in CoA? 2xBer?
What gloves should i get?
Are gores still acceptable as boots?
Dungos or Tgods for belt?
BK or Raven for other ring?
Is a CTA necessary or should i save for different character?

Also, what would you advise as far as skill spread goes?
And attribute spread?

Probably mostly organs/ubers
Well balanced is what im aiming for tho.

If you use it on ubers, then Guillaumes is better helm. also gores for boots and raven for ring
Last wish could be better, than grief for uber runs, cos you need much crushing blow to get them down fasten
With Lw you must take ias gloves
And dungo or tg? take tg if you need moar abs
use cta if you want. I prefer life tap wand on swich

Agreed. The significant difference between LW and Grief for smiters is the +xxx% ED of LW and the +xxx Damage of Grief. Note the difference. The additional damage from Grief applies to smite, but the enhanced damage of LW won't. If it did, I would use LW in a heart beat for all that CB and LT, despite no IAS. It could be such a beautiful thing...
