Yeah.

So I currently am going with the greatsword and I feel the traits offer a very strong composition of greatsword and greatsword+sprear talents. I honestly think theres no way dual axes can be better than greatswords.

Would you go with dual axes for greater mobility and probably higher dps?

I roll with GS and dual axes, myself, and swap after using the major skills on each, with very little auto attacking. GS has slightly higher dps and much better mobility though, when comparing the two. I think it's fun to drop the sword and whip out two axes in a fight but that's just me.

pve, greatsword is the best, sometimes a rifle or something is necessary for certain bosses or whatever.

pvp or wvw, axe/axe or axe/mace is very effective.

I usually have gs with axe/mace and keep rifle in the inventory just in case.. just to stay flexible.

Axe/Axe really has no advantage with any build
They really need to lower the recharge of the off-hand axe whirlwind, then it would be viable vs. Greatsword DPS

Right now, nothing beats the DPS of a Greatsword
And nothing beats the Mace Burst Skill (which has a long stun)

Popular W PvP builds are pretty much using Greatsword with Mace/Shield on switch
They rune up armor to maximize the stun duration with the mace and the shield (it's powerful control effects in conjunction with Bola + Bull's Charge)
All of this makes it very easy to catch someone with 100 blades

For PvE, just use Greatsword (with sigil of frailty = does vulnerability on crits, no cool down) and it stacks with the warriors trait that does the same / any two hand combo with sup bloodlust, just to get your stacks before killing with greatsword
and of course Rifle in INV for kiting shit like dragons

I use Greatsword and Axe/Mace or Axe as the swap. If you go Axe/Mace you get an added vulnerability. If you go Axe/Axe you get Whirl. With either you should use Eviscerate. Only Axe/Axe helps you get more Eviscerates off. Both work externally well. Pick your poison.

As for Sigils... Fire, Bloodlust, Force, and Strength all work perfectly.
