Someone give me the TL;DR version. All I seen was a giant wall of text.

Guy asked if he could run on maximum settings.
He didn't know what maximum settings was.
He meant what settings he could run it at with the specific setup.
I told him how he would run it.
Some rando asshat comes in not knowing what maximum is. Even after explaining it.
He gives a herp-derp wash list of falsities.
Gets slammed. Tries to mend. Fails.
Random has left the building.

I was running the game at max setting (1920x1200) with this at 35-40 FPS while pvp or pve.

Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
Intel Core i7 930 @ 4.00GHz 1.25v
Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H70
Corsair Vengeance 3x4Go 1600MHz @ 1.64v 8-8-8-24
OCZ Vertex 3 120GB 2.5IN SATA3
Seagate 500Go SATA2
WD 2To backup
eVGA GTX 470 SC @ 850MHz/1700MHz/2050MHz, 1.087mV
XFX 850W Black Edition
MS Win7 Professional x64 w/ SP1
ANTEC Twelve Hundred Case

and they are currently working on the engine to be more powerfull with less power gpu, cpu..

and yes, the GTX680 worth all penny (500$) its the #1 single GPU card in the world

No, it won't. Radeon shading and anti aliasing will not be sufficient.

Unless you want to run it on 40-50fps.

Heck you might even need the i7 3770

Ahem...

Wait for the regular i7 Ivy bridge on april 29
You'll be fine

+gfx card

4x4 is useless imo

I Run Guildwars on A macbook pro with a windows partition with only 60 gb disk...
30-60 fps depending on zones.
15-20 in kamadan d1

Why would he need an i7 over an i5, the game doesn't have multi threading.........
