I really need some feedback on whether I should preorder the game, or even buy it after launch. I preordered my copy of Diablo 3 with high hopes, all the hype, and expectations. Got it, played it, bored of it. I was one of those whom are lucky enough to be able to get a refund, after opening my ticket.

Is GW2 similar to GW1? Since I love GW1, were GW2 to be really similar, then I will definitely make my preorder.

It isn't similar. Not by a long shot.

Personally I am actually going to dump the 150$ on the CE.

3 Days headstart... Yeah I will have that week off of work. This game has a lot of potential though. I just hope they fix the PvP ASAP.

The main problem is that pre-purchasing the game doesn't really give me much of a bonus, considering the hero's band will hardly be of significance to end game. Another thing is that I've also prepurchased Diablo 3 due to all the hype and my nostalgia Diablo 2, but realized its bullcrap after 2 weeks, and was lucky enough to receive a refund from them. So now I am skeptical on whether or not to just wait it out till someone post a review video on youtube, and I can get an actual sense of what the "finished" game will be like.

But they already said the last beta would be focusing on balancing. So there really arent too many issues.

D3 felt shit to begin with in the demo, I wasn't excited at all when I first tried it.
GW2 felt amazing on the other hand and I'm sure it will continue to be at final release.

Don't worry, Guild Wars 2 will be a LOT better than Diablo 3. One of the main reasons being how over farmed the game is (Diablo 3), and the amount of skill it requires is non-existant.

So yes, it's worth it to pre-purchase Guild Wars 2.

No. The reason why D3 was fail was there was shit for content.

Beat the game 4 times. Okay now do it again without dying.
