Hello,
My name is Austin and I've been playing Arma II: DayZ (mod) for almost a month now. I've been playing in a medic group and have become a well known medic since then, saving the lives of over 70 people in all sorts of areas. I now am looking to play the game in a different way. More of an aggressive survival aspect, if you will. I'd like to form a group that has fun raiding the necessary supplies, then hunting other survivors, something I have yet to do in the game yet. I have plenty of experience killing players from 5m-1100m defending my medic squad as a sniper, I have just never committed "banditry" as in purposely hunting down other survivors.

A little bit about myself and my DayZ experience:



I'd like to form a group with ~ 4-5 people with the following roles:
*Squad Leader - PDM - Sniper: Austin
Secondary Squad Leader - Spotter/Rifleman:
Squad Medic - Rifleman:
Squad Mule - Rifleman (SMG):
Squad Member - Rifleman:

*PDM = Permanently Designated Marksman

Rules of the squad:
1. No killing any members that are apart of our squad. The only exception is if I, Austin, say so, and it would only be under a dire condition (such as if someone broke this rule).
2. We share our loot. If there is a dispute between loot, Austin will decide upon who receives the loot, or will reach a compromise. A general rule of thumb, if you don't NEED the loot, let someone else have it.
3. Do not have sidebar conversations while we are playing (unless appropriate). We need to remain fully focused during raids, pvp firefights, and our travels.
4. If Austin or the Secondary Squad Leader says to do something, you need to do it.
5. Be prepared to die at any moment, be prepared to kill at any moment, be prepared at all times.

I like the idea of this. I've been playing this style of gameplay. I think it would be hard to only have 5 members though unless your play times all lined up together. Even missing one person in a 5 man team can hurt. Somewhat interested, but I haven't been playing the game very long. Been almost a week I think and my understanding of the game is still pretty basic. I lack a lot of knowledge weapon wise on what's good and what's not. Usually always looking up stuff on the wiki.

All you need is two people (once your experienced enough) to do anything you'll ever need to

As for commenting on the rest, consider getting some more experience and then applying,
If you want some basic weapon knowledge, as you say you lack, consider checking the DayZ Wiki

I know my basic weapons that you would find in cherno or electro. It's the more advance guns that you would find in choppers and such I don't know as well. Things like power, rate of fire, unique addons like scope/night vision optics, noise.

He's putting in an app for the future, when he gets more experience within the game (after he buys it)
So for now, of course, this app is declined, but again, it'll be left open for the future.
