What we do in training is we all get a ball, put it on the circle line outside the box and simply tell which way you're going to shoot and shoot.
If you miss completely -> 10 push ups
If the keeper saves -> 5 push ups
If you score but it wasn't in the way you said it would -> 5 push ups.

Gets me everything ;)

Ah like that,

Do a 5-10 meter sprint, have a teammate pass you the ball and try to shoot on target.

have a player stand 20-30 yards out directly in front of the goal, stand about 30-40 yards away. pass him the ball and he either lays it back to you for a shot, or he can pass it to either side for a one time hit, or a through ball for a breakaway

this pretty much

Also what alot of players forget is either training on volleys/picking the ball up in the air and shoot.

 The most boring & repeated drill possible for shooting because you often get so open chances where you can take so many touches & have time on goal, atleast make it a movement drill with cones to slalom before.

3 men start at about 40-50 yards away in a line the length of the centre circle, one left one middle one right. Ball begins with guy on left who plays into path of guy on right and begins to overlap him, the centre begins to run and ball is laid into his path by guy on right, he then lays onto the edge of the box between the edge of semi circle and edge of 18 yard box into path of the overlapper who shoots across goal. the two others should be arriving in the box for any rebounds or poor shots. Always make sure its across the box as in a game situation this can often cause poor saves/clearances that lead to chances.

There's so many about just get an fa coaching handbook.
