According to a report on Sky Sport Italia, Wolfsburg's technical director Dieter Hoeness is currently holding talks with Juventus' sporting dorector Giuseppe Marotta at Galileo Ferraris over the transfer of Bosnian international Edin Dzeko.

Juventus have been after the highly rated attacker for quite a while now, but they appeared to have missed out on Dzeko's services when Wolfsburg declared that the prolific hitman was going nowhere this summer.

Dzeko had a €40 million release clause in his Wolfsburg contract, but this clause expired on May 31, 2010. No club made an official offer for Dzeko before that, thus prompting Wolfsburg to declare the striker not for sale at any price.

However, the 24-year-old Dzeko continually voiced his desire to move abroad in the past couple of weeks and Wolfsburg are now apparently ready to discuss a possible transfer after all.

The report claims that Marotta and Hoeness are not only discussing the possible transfer of Dzeko, but that Wolfsburg defender Andrea Barzagli and Juventus playmaker Diego are also the subject of transfer talks.

:O
I don't believe Goal anymore but still.... the possibility of Dzeko :hail:

Would have to use Diego as a trading chip, no way Juve would pay 40+ mill, I don't think so anyways.
Juventus needs a striker and one of Dzeko's caliber would be amazing.
Iaquinta is injured already, Trezegol is past his prime, Del Piero is a super sub.
Leaving Amauri to have a huge task, Diego been playing second striker in pre season

Trezeguet...

And Diego is one hell of a playmaker, losing him would make Juve's strikers not do anything.

Eh, last year tells a different story.
I don't doubt his talent and wouldn't want to lose him but the club is justified he performed very sub par last season.
