ya 2006 4-1 game? Was cool watch, but today Basel stronger, took out ManU last season haha (really big moment for us)
Only problem is Shaqiri left and now sits on bench in Bayern could stay 2-3 more years
yeah i know man, we diminished in size, steve mclaren, our manager at the time took the england job, and left us in charge with an apprentice manager, gareth southgate!
but hey, when we played you guys, at least we got to the final
i hope we qualify again this season and get promoted, because it will bring so many more big name signings, sponsers and investors to the club again, meaning that we really can get back on our feet!
the new manager that we have, is a local born guy, but a guy with alot of managerial experience, tony mowbray, and he has done amazing at restructuring the club, and his man management, and style of play he uses is really good
gets the best out the players, especially the young ones!

my terminology for small clubs is that this is a thread for discussing football that doesnt involve the power teams! so not so man utd, chelsea, real madrid, arsenal etc etc orientated!
noticed that alot of people on here that follow the club, may know alot about the club in terms of current affairs and player ability, but know nothing about the clubs rise to power, how they got there and who they are aimed at!
