brasil is without a doubt the most successful nation in football history. unfortunately the reason for this success isn't their great youth academies - it's their great poverty!
this is where 90% of their stars come from, for many of them the only way out of poverty - this is the REAL football in brasil:
of course you will never hear about the countless millions of kids who didn't make it and died in poverty or drug wars.
brasil sure has some nice places but mostly is an underdeveloped and backward country...
and yes, i've been there - only two times but it was enough to see the ugly truth, often only a mile away from the beautiful beaches we all associate with brasil...
