Super Bowl XLIX Blind OddsThis is a type of pool where you are wagering on who you think will win the Super Bowl.
There is no spread involved in this bet. It is purely on the winner of the game.
Blind Odds:This is a wagering pool where you send a certain amount of fg for the side that you think will win this bet.
After the game begins I will total the amount of fg wagered on each side of the bet. The winning side will get their fg back and will divide up the fg sent in for the losing side proportional to the amount of fg that they themselves wagered.
Example:
Person A wagers 40 fg on Team 1.
Person B wagers 60 fg on Team 1.
Person C wagers 75 fg on Team 2.
Person D wagers 125 fg on Team 2.
Total Wagered on Team 1: 100 fg
Total Wagered on Team 2: 200 fg
If Team 1 end up winning, then Person A and Person B will divide the 200 fg sent in for Team 2. Person A gets 40% of the pot because they sent in 40% of the bets on Team 1, and Person B gets 60% because they sent in 60% of the bets on the Team 1.
Therefore Person A gets 120 fg back (40 fg back plus 80 fg from the losers pot).
Person B gets 180 fg back (60 fg back plus 120 from the losers pot).
How To Enter:Send me the fg you want to wager on a side, and in the comment, label the side you want to win. ("Blind Odds-Seahawks" or "Blind Odds-Patriots")
I will take fg until 5:00 pm eastern time on Super Bowl Sunday.
