Sexually transmitted diseases
are highly prevalent in this
region. Gonorrhea, chlamydia, and other infections are
common, and may affect a high percentage of personnel who
have sexual contact. Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
and hepatitis B occur throughout the region.
Though the
immediate impact of HIV and hepatitis B on an operation is
limited, the long-term impact on your individual health is
