just spent over 4k on a new jeep for the wife only to find out today that i got laid off. now im piss poor broke, not working , went on a date with the wife on saturday and my sister and her kids came over to watch mine. they proceeded to eat all of the kids snacks for school and the lunches for the next 2 weeks that we had for them. the new jeep is leaking trans fluid someplace and i cant afford to even wash it down to see where the fuck its leaking from. on unemployment it will be atleast 2-3 weeks before i get my next check. rent is due next week. F U LIFE F U

Holy shit man... that fucking sucks. Go apply for food stamps right away if you haven't already, milk the system as best you can until you can find another job. I've road unemployment before and I hated it, the hiring market is shit though and you gotta do what you gotta do.

I know how you feel though, me and the girlfriend (of 5 years) had to move back into my parents for a little while after I got laid off. I eventually ended up moving states and me and her both found good jobs, it was a pain in the ass and an insanely stressful time. As long as you're not lazy (which I don't think you are) you should be able to bounce back. Just try to keep positive, once you give up and start beating yourself up, it's just over.



Was going to say that, was hoping he'd figure that part out. Most people don't have a ton of money into savings, especially people with bills/kids.

I got a little, but not nearly enough to keep the family going for long.
