I have an ongoing conversation with a friend about the worst managed team in the league. I think it's the Jet's by far, but my friend who is admitedly very knowledgeable maintains it's the Bills.

Granted, the Bills are bad (the Fitzpatrick contract comes to mind), but I actually didn't mind them taking E.J. Manuel. He's the most physically gifted of this years QB's.

The Jets to me are just a trainwreck. Hire an aweful, bullshit talking coach who can't deliver? Check. Draft a terrible QB, then sort of write him off while still giving him a contract? Check. Bring in a monstrous distraction to challenge aforementioned terrible QB (while being terrible himself), then, just for shits, never use him? Check.

That's like the trifecta there to me anyway. Sorry for the wall of text but I felt this deserved it.

it's hard to get people to sign FA contracts to buffalo - so i kind of give them a pass when it comes to lack of signings.

but the jets.. draft sanchez.. realize he needs help and lots of tools around him.. and then they decide to reduce the talent they have on offense around him. like that's a serious wtf?

Did you watch EJ Manuel in college? He fucking sucked. He's about as consistent as my liquid ass that i just dropped into the shitter. Not consistent at all.

Having said that, the Jets are far and away the worst managed team in recent history. They're literally a circus. They just had an awesome draft though, if only they took Floyd/Star over Richardson. Time will tell I guess. They did have a sweet draft though

I don't really watch college outside of my state (even then, ehh), so I'm mostly going on draft reports.

As much as I hate the Jets I thought they got a steal taking Geno in the 2nd. I don't really get why everyone is trying to shit on Geno Smith right now.

cus he was being a baby back bitch at the draft. They did get a steal though. They just need a QB not named Mark Sanchez to show him the ropes and he will be very good. It sucks cause i want to root for him, but he is a NY Jet... Major dilemma

I heard he didn't do well in interviews with teams either, but still, didn't he have like 40+ TD's and only like 4 picks last year? Don't quite get that.

Who else is even on the Jets depth chart? Isn't it just Sanchez and that kid from Bama? LOL

Everything I've seen from him makes him look like a good kid. Idk what happened draft night that is true and false, but his rep has gone out the window since becoming a jet LOL
