Unofficial Bettor’s List Nominations Thread
ChangesThe trusted users of this forum have had discussions and have adopted the following changes. I will be taking over the operation of the Unofficial Bettor’s List.
- Once a month, the trusted users of this forum will consider what they have seen on the forums along with in the nomination threads and come up with a list of users to nominate for active or trusted status.
- After that list has been compiled, the trusted users of this forum will vote on whether that user should be made active or trusted. Trusted users are not obligated to vote and the following percentage will be calculated based on only the number that have voted as opposed to the total number of trusted users. (1) Users nominated for active who have X% “Yes” votes and users nominated for trusted who have Y% “Yes” votes will be approved. (X and Y have not yet been officially determined although the current thoughts are in the range of X=75 and Y=90)
- The trusted users of these forums will also discuss and vote on any issues regarding the maintenance of this list or on controversial betting situations when they arise.
General Considerations for Bettors- If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.
- While discussions from every month will not be made public, feel free to pm me if you have any questions about what happened. I will not give you information about which trusted user said what. However, I will tell you if you were voted on, what vote percentage you received, and what reasons were given for not approving your nomination at this time.
- Update: As of right now, I’ve decided that I will put changes and the results of a decision in a blog.

As you can see, I would prefer for you to pm me before making a public thread. If you truly feel what you have to say is something that should be discussed by everybody and it will be valuable to open up for input from everybody, so be it. But please weigh that against the fact that almost all list discussion threads in this forum end up having a ton of “drama” posts, end up going off topic, and get to a point where people stop reading them. It is bad for the forum because it makes the list lose respect and we don’t need negative publicity for something that is already not supported by d2jsp.NominationsAn age old tradition in this forum. Use this thread to inform us about bettors with whom you have had a smooth and efficient experience betting with by posting gold logs of your bets with them. These nominations will be considered when deciding on which users will be voted on by the trusteds and will also be considered by trusteds when voting.
If you have been welched, feel free to post in this thread. However, I request that you also pm me so that I can make updates as soon as possible. Please include a link to the bet thread, a gold log showing no payment, and any other information (Such as pms indicating you will not be paid, the fact that you were blocked).
There is no concrete number of nominations required to achieve a certain status and there is no number that automatically guarantees you a status. However we look for these general guidelines:
- Have you been a good mannered bettor?
- Have you made sure your bets are clear in an effort to avoid controversial situations?
- Have you made an effort to pay bets in a timely manner?
Additionally, in the past we have generally looked for a user to have been Active for at least 1 year before being considered trusted. Additionally, we look for the user to not have tried any underhanded betting maneuvers. These guidelines will still be considered when voting although they will not be considered a strict rule.
