This is a 100% non trolling, non bashing thread I want to see the consensus of Cowboy fans on here and the expectations they have.

Be honest and provide a response as to why or why not.

Non Cowboy fans can chime in as well.

Romo is 32 this year; we've got to get it done pretty soon or he's leaving big D without a ring.  Our potential this year is exciting to think about though...I'd like to keep Jenkins because we saw his ability in his rookie season, he just has to come back from his slump.  Would be nice to have Claiborne and Carr on the outsides with Jenkins in the slot . I wonder who the coaches are going to determine deserves to start in the slot this season...

Can't wait to see our new guys develop, especially Hanna.  He sounds like an unpolished freak of an athlete.  Hopefully he has the hands to go with it.

You're an idiot if your blaming our woes on him.

Guy has thrown for less than 10 ints the last three years.

If Dallas can fix it's problems, yes I have no doubt he'll win a ring.

Where in this topic did I even mention Romo...? Why are you getting so defensive? Surely it's on your mind every year, how could it not be.

I think he can do it, but everything will have to fall perfectly into place. The defense, besides dware, ratliff, and sean lee, will have to play with serious confidence and a desire to get the W every single week. The offense will have to stay healthy and click while keeping distractions to a minimum. The offensive tools have always been there, and I truly think the defense has been what keeps us out of the playoffs year in and year out. Romo can only do so much, but he IS a playoff caliber QB and can definitely win a SB if the rest of the team cooperates.

And, because of the division we're in, we need the giants and eagles to have their share of slumping moments.

If he had a good defense and maybe a better OL, sure, I think he can do it.

The basis of this Topic derives around Romo however no where did I even mention him aside from the topic title but for some reason you got upset and claimed I was "blaming him for Dallas' woes".

Why would I ask "will dallas win a ring"? Dallas is a franchise, Romo is a piece. Romo is aging and his window is closing very rapidly.

He's had a plethora of talent throughout his career so to say he's not primarily to blame for their woes is pretty foolish. I mean his biggest blunder vs the Seahawks in the wildcard game ended your playoff run.

If Romo learns to perform in clutch situations they have a shot.

But that won't happen so...
