You heard me right, folks

Loss to Steelers? Very likely.
Loss to Bears? Likely.
Loss to Buffalo? Certainly possible, especially after the 4-game losing streak that they could be on in a couple weeks.

They could beat Buffalo and be 10-6 and still miss the playoffs (San Diego or Indianapolis getting in because of SoV)

I would bet on the Jets to miss the playoffs (10-6 or 9-7) at 1:1, and to miss the playoffs with a 9-7 record at 2:1. Do any of you know a place I could make a bet like this?

Buffalo has beaten the Jets before, Sanchize has had meltdowns vs. them before, their offense is explosive when it gets going, and the Jets D "ain't what it used to be" for lack of a better term.
Buffalo also "almost beat" a lot of good teams (37-34 OT loss to Ravens, 38-30 loss to Patriots, 19-16 OT loss to Steelers) and I think they could beat the Jets provided they stay consistent for 60 minutes...

And Buffalo now is a different team than the 0-8 team that they were...3-10 and should really be like 6-7 or 7-6 if you think they should have beaten miami (15-10 loss)

yeah idk though, i just don't think they can put up points vs jets D. Course i didn't think they'd lose to miami, or the pats putting up 40

I'm not 'sure' either, but I think it's certainly possible. They're more likely to go 10-6 and get the 6th wild card slot, or go 10-6 and miss the playoffs, but they -might- go 9-7 with a classic "SAME OLD JETS" montage...I wasn't there in 1986 where they started 10-1 then finished 10-6, but I do remember Testaverde's season-ending injury in game 1, and when they started 8-3 and finished 9-7 (missing playoffs) in 2008...

I just certainly think this team can live up to my expectations of fucking it up like they always do. Of course I hope they don't, but I just can certainly see it happen. The Bears D is probably better than the Jets D. I know that the Patriots took a shit on both teams, but remember, the Bears don't have to beat Brady, they have to beat Sanchez, which is much easier to do if you can put him in uncomfortable positions. If that happens, he has consistently fucked it up - throwing ints instead of taking a sack, fumbling the ball when taking the sack, fumbling the ball after being hit on a play that is pretty much dead that he tried to continue, etc...

That said, if the Bears -can't- get to Sanchez, well..Even then, he's not very accurate...I just don't think the Jets have the scoring power to beat the steelers or bears. If it's anything like it has been - 9 points in the past 8 quarters of football they've played - they have no chance. If they play mediocrely, they can get bailed out by special teams (brad smith returns kickoff for touchdown like vs. the bengals) or something, but to be honest, their offense hasn't really played well since their game vs. Houston...

Anyway, the problem with Buffalo is that they don't have the stifling defense like the Steelers and Bears do. However, I think unless the Jets D plays really well (like they did vs. Miami), that Fitzpatrick would be able to get good throws on the inside. Jets have decent cornerbacks, but two of those and one safety can't cover everyone...Really comes down to if the Buffalo o-line can stop the predictable Ryan blitz...

If the Buffalo game makes it 'must-win' to get into the playoffs they should win it.

If it has no meaning (they are already in, or they can't get in) they will probably lose because Buffalo needs the pride.

I could see three losses

In Pitt - Bad weather
In Chi - Bad weather
@home vs Buf - Bad weather.
