Ok. You picked 1 week out of the last 5... aka over the last month and that was against a Jimmy Clausen-led Bears team. Talk about riding the achievements in the first 2/3 of the season. Playoffs are about how you're playing NOW... not how you played on November 23rd.
Sorry, I tried to keep my examples to relevant running backs.
And That is not even true. I picked 2 games out of the last 5... and 1 of the last 5 was the GB. So I picked 2 games (both Chicago) out of the (other) last 4.
The other 2 teams were the Vikings in week 15 and the Bucs in week 14.
In week 14 we held Doug Martin to 22 yards and Charles Sims to -4 yards. Total 18 yards.
In week 15 we held Asiata to 36 yards rushing, 86 total.
In the past 5 weeks (Weeks 13 - 17) we held running backs to an average of 51.6 yards per game. And yes, the only outlier in the past 5 weeks (and the season) was Week 17. Our run defense is just fine.
