We wanted this to happen.. we got rid of DC and OC, we wanted a new RB and possibly a 1st round for Roddy, but realized this years draft sucks and FA guys were bad too.

I still stand by all of it except for the trade Roddy part. I don't know if we should have brought back Gonzo though. We have too much money invested in skill positions and it's leaving little for the lines

Turner - 8 mil cap hit
Gonzo - 6 mil cap hit
Roddy - 8 mil cap hit.

Get rid of Turner+Gonzo for something a little cheaper like Michael Bush + drafted TE and we just saved at least 10 mil in cap space to throw at the lines on both sides of the ball.

Getting rid of Gonzalez would be a terrible move considering how much production he gives you even if he's costly. I think without him it would be even more costly production wise.

So is Roddy though. Why have two high dollar WR's if you're just going to use half of that production on the TE?

Besides, upgrade the lines and everybody's production is going to increase.
