Arian Foster is the best RB Houston has had since Earl Campbell because Eddie George only played his rookie year in Houston before the team moved to Tennessee. Domanick Davis-Williams (he changed his name) was a beast for two seasons before he had to retire with his serious knee injury. And of course, Steve Slaton turned out to be a one year wonder, rookie sensation.

Slaton had an neck injury and gained 20 pounds or so, I think that had a lot to do with it. Love the Campbell sig too though.

Texans signed five of the draft picks, Ben Jones, Keshawn Martin, Jared Crick, Randy Bullock, and Nick Mondek on Monday with 21 other UDFAs. Mercilus, Posey, and Brooks were the only ones that were not signed.

Davin Meggett out of Maryland has great genes! How did this kid go undrafted? I'm cheering for him to make the team as the Texans' third-string running back behind Foster and Tate. He's going to be another nice find for Rick Smith and Gary Kubiak. I don't want to get too excited but they may have landed three or four gems in undrafted free agency - Dwight Jones and Loni Fangupo most notably. I also like Case Keenum and Eddie Pleasant.

I hope we see a lot of Case in OTAs, mini camp, training camp and the pre-season.



He better beat out John Beck to make the roster, LOL. But I think Kubiak will keep 4 QBs total (one on practice squad).

Andre is out for 2 weeks after another surgery... I really needa get down to texas to watch him soon!!!
