hope we don't get bortles. It should between Clowney, Bridgewater, Mack, and Manziel.

I don't want bortles either. Late Risers usually scream Bust, please draft him so he doesn't slide to norv turner who will love him for his size...take a bullet

i think its ludicrous that pitt will trade ben for such a low price. even a no. 1 overall wouldnt suffice. they'd need to give pitt a 2nd and/or a 3rd next year as well.

on the other hand, i know the steelers, and most pittsburgh fan are still burned over resigning an aged terry bradshaw instead of trading him to draft a guy by the name of dan marino. so who knows. still dont see them trading him, and the pitt gm has said they are going to do everything they can to have him retire a steeler.

Colbert is restructuring contracts like crazy, in fact I think Pittsburgh leads the league by a large margin in restructured contracts over the past 3 years. They're in it to win it soon before going full tank mode after Ben leaves and they have no cap space (they're already stuck at a hilarious 400k in cap space heading into the draft lol).

Plus idk why Hou would give up a 1st overall for a QB who can't even stay healthy for an entire year. Maybe the #33 pick tops. Ben has maybe 3 good years left in his career.

I love Ben, but I think it's 2-3 years to late for that. At best we'd get 5 more years out of him.

This is coming from someone who says Andre, at his current age, is worth more than first (and a third iirc)

Don't talk about other players value when you have no clue how to gauge players from the team you watch

You misinterpreted what I meant. Andre is invaluable to our franchise, he's always been our leader, on the field and off the field. Obviously no one would pay that much for Andre, but Houston would be stupid to get rid of a player like Andre for so cheap.

Is Watkins good in the slot? I don't really attention to prospects the Hawks have no shot at or won't consider.

I've got another one. New Orleans is sitting at 27 in round 1. Let's say they wanted to move into the top 5. That'd take 2 firsts, a second and a third (maybe even 2 seconds). They don't really have a whole lot they need to address. A more solid LT would be nice but not a massive need. They got a stop gap at corner with Champ for a year at least. Their young guys on the DL showed vast improvements to where it isn't as big of a concern as many would think. Their LBs are OK but not great, could be addressed. But let's just say the Cleveland Browns at 4, or Oakland Raiders at 5 or even St. Louis Rams at 6 (Atlanta trades up for Clowney) want to move down and the player the Saints want is still there. The Saints offer up 2014 first, second, third and 2015 first, would that team take it? Browns and Raiders might not but the Rams would be salivating over that trade. Let's just say one of those teams does take the trade, the Saints give up quite a bit to move up, but who are they moving up for? The New Orleans saints move up to draft Sammy Watkins. Imagine that shit. Colston, Watkins and Graham with Brees slinging that ball around. Oh no they lost Sproles, who the fuck cares? lol.

This one is out there I know, but I could see the Saints pulling something sneaky like this, the difficult part is finding that trade partner.

The saints would be in super win-now mode if they do that

And I'll trash any team that trades 2 firsts, a 2nd, and a 3rd for one player every time. No one player outweighs the value of 4 men, especially a non-QB.

Brees is 35, so they should be pushing that anyway
