You're mistaking QB hits for sacks. Eli doesn't get sacked because of his pocket presence and propensity to throw the ball away whether it be out of bounds or into traffic.


Eli has some of if not the best pocket presence in the league.

Our O-line has been ATROCIOUS the past 2 seasons which forces Eli to make decisions much quicker than he would like to.

I merely said I think you would be more successful with Vick at QB than Foles. Not long term, I'm talking next season.

Vick will be your starter until he goes down to injury or plays like shit and gets demoted.

I hear ya man, but glad everything is going well.

Our line appeared to be because of Eli's pocket awareness and his footwork. Our O-line has been absolutely garbage for years now even if the numbers don't back that up. Ask any Giants fan or anyone that isn't bias and knows what they're talking about.

The year we won the Super Bowl in 2011 our line was terrible... so terrible. It wasn't until the post season that they played better.

Pocket presence still doesn't change getting hit. Unless you are throwing the ball away the second you get it.

Eli had the fewest hits on him as a QB last year. And I am not saying that your O_line wasn't bad. I know it was, but they provided him with more time still than Vick or Foles had, and even you cannot argue that. Yet Foles and Vick, put up only slightly worse stats than him.

I was just using this as a display to show that Foles should have a chance to start this year. He earned that chance last year by putting up decent numbers performing under duress. Just wanted to use Eli's as a similar statline that would show that Foles has the potential that a lot of others ignore.
