This is open to everyone that frequents the hockey forum.
Eligibility will be at my discretion.
Failure to follow rules results in being disqualified, no exceptions.

For this event, you must pick the score of every first round game and you must alos pick a player who will score a goal that night
For every correct score you'll get a 5 point bonus however for every goal you are off during the first round you will lose a point
Example
Game 1 Montreal vs Ottawa you pick 4-3 ottawa as the correct score you'd get 5 points
Game 1 NYR vs Pittsburgh you pick 2-0 and the score ends up being 5-1. you'd lose 4 points
For the second part of the game you will pick a player who you think will score a goal that night however once you choose a player you cant pick him again for the rest of the playoffs so choose wisely. if you correctly predict one of the goal scorers for the night you get a 5 point bonus.
YOU MUST POST YOUR PICKS IN THIS THREAD AND YOU MUST PREDICT EVERY GAME OF THE FIRST ROUND IN YOUR POST. IF YOU THINK A SERIES WILL BE OVER BEFORE 7 GAMES SIMPLY PUT 0-0 FOR THE GAMES YOU DONT THINK WILL HAPPEN.
Picks must be in before 6:00pm EST Wednesday April 15th
At the end of the first round the 5 lowest scores will be eliminated and that will continue every round until there are only 5 guys left for the finals

In addition the hockey freeroll this year will have an overall standings and the top 15 will be awarded points based on where they finish. there are 2 legs and the top 15 after both legs will be awarded fg based on the final position so make sure you enter both legs

I have a question

I assume we also pick the series length? So if I choose 0-0 and there is in fact no game I get the points right?

you do pick the series length but i dont need to see it. as long as you have scores for every game we are good and yes you would get the points if the game didnt happen
