This is the first prediction bracket for the 2011-2012 season.
Following this, there will be other ones for top scorer, most points, Norris winner, Calder winner, etc.

The starting bracket was randomized, with Boston/Vancouver getting a bye in the first round, since they were in the cup final, and there aren't 32 teams.
Do not vote in this thread. There will be a poll made for each matchup, in which you vote which of the two teams has the better chance of winning The Stanley Cup.
Each poll will be open for approximately 24hours (Might be a bit longer depending on when I get online).
Whoever has the most votes in each poll moves on to the next round! Try to vote in each poll! (You don't need to post if you don't want to)
Also, try not to be bias, or make homer picks unless you actually think they have a better chance.

By the end, we will have predictions for a bunch of things such as Cup, worst team, Vezina, and a lot more! (Even some fun ones )

Yeah, a lot of these first rounders will be blowout votes, but it will get more interesting once we get into later rounds

I just don't want to see homer votes (for instance if dej is the only person who votes in a thread that is Vancouver and Florida, and Florida wins.. lol

neat idea guys, but MON will probably win due to the sheer amount of fans/homers on here.

As for the Habs comment, there's also quite a few haters though, and a few of the fans will be realistic.
Also, the left side is pretty weak, so I wouldn't find it surprising for them to meet up with Boston in the semi finals of the bracket

my 2 teams to meet up in 2nd round if Canes win will be only one i'll truly null lol

Yeah I've been voting as soon as I see the choices to help avoid that exact problem
